Julie Ann Koch, 65, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Julie was born December 2, 1960, the daughter of Ken Kelly and Janie Sweet. She married Gene Koch and the two were together since 1986 until his death in 2020. Julie worked as a caregiver most of her life. Julie’s children and grandchildren were the center of her life, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and her fur babies. She was a loving, caring, strong-willed, supportive, original outlaw woman who will be deeply missed by her family.

Julie is survived by: her children, Kristy Thomas, Kenneth Thomas (Rebecca Deters); grandchildren, Joslyn Koch, Savannah Wilson (TJ Steele), Trevor Koch, Kenneth Thomas Jr., and Ariyonna Maples; great-grandchildren, Keyoni and Letty; sister, Gail (Ron) Russell; half brother, Kevin Kelly; several nieces and nephews; and her fur babies, Duk-ee, Ry-Le, Chee-Ko, Zeus, Baby girl, and Stash.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Gene; parents, Ken and Janie; 2 brothers, John, Dennis; half brother, Bruce; 2 sisters, Pam B., Teresa; and half sister, Pam F.

Cremation will take place and no services are being planned at this time.
