June Crosby June Eleanor Crosby, age 85 of Rochester, New York and formerly of Fremont, passed away Monday at the Kirhaven Nursing Home in Rochester. She was born on April 23, 1914 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Albert R. and Jeanette (Davis) Ketl and married Floyd "Bing" Crosby on June 19, 1927 in Barrington, Illinois. Floyd preceded her in death on September 5, 1970. She has been a resident of Rochester since 1972 when she moved from Fremont. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois and had worked at the Gerber Products Company in the research department for a short time as well. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. She is survived by her children, Robert (Marcia) Crosby of Hesperia; Terry (Ellen) Crosby of Rochester, New York; Charlene (Roger) Schurkamp of Rochester, New York; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one sister, Leona (Carl) Palmer of Livermore, California Graveside services were held on Friday, March 31, 2000 from the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont with Rev.
