June E. Sutton, age 77 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the Corewell Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. June was born on September 18, 1945 in White Cloud to Elmer N. and Doris M. (Fetterley) May and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1963. June has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud/Newaygo area where she had worked at the Newaygo High School beginning in the library and later retired as the Secretary at the Newaygo High School after over 30 years. June continued to stay active as a volunteer at Newaygo Schools for several years at sporting events. June was a member of the White Cloud United Methodist Church where she had been active in the various activities and groups. June was a member of the White Cloud Garden Club, enjoyed nature, her dogs, was a traveler and adventurer through the years but truly treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. June is survived by her sons, Rodd Sutton of Newaygo; Ryan (Beth) Sutton of Lancaster, Ohio; Rob (Stacey) Sutton of Rockledge, Florida; 10 grandchildren; her brother, Leon A. (Janet) May of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Doris May; her sister, Joan LeMire and brother, Dean May.
