Karen Sue Carr Kae, 79, returned to her heavenly home and was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 26, 2026.

Born on July 19, 1946, in Sonoma, California, to Lavern “Kenneth” and LeNola Carr. Karen moved to Michigan with her family at a young age. She was a proud 1964 graduate of Holton High School. Karen’s early years were defined by her fierce devotion to her family; she worked tirelessly at Prince Corp. in Holland, Michigan, while dedicating herself to raising her five children and prioritizing their education.

Karen relocated to Arizona in 2000 and began a new chapter. There, she found a vibrant community of faith, volunteering extensively with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and serving at the Mesa and Gilbert Temples. Her sacred work within the temple brought her boundless joy, peace, and a profound closeness to her Heavenly Father.

Karen’s legacy of love lives on through her five surviving children: Roxanne (Jim) Dragovich, Robin (Melanie) Kettring, Kimberly Dykman, Kristina (Frank) Cechura, and Ken (Amy) Kettring. She was the cherished grandmother of 12, the great-grandmother of 11, and a dear sister to Sandra Way, Kaye Carr, Nola “Jackie” (Cary) Peoples, and Dawn (Bruce) Andree. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, and her faithful canine companion, Weebe.

She now rests in peace alongside her parents, Lavern “Kenneth” and LeNola Carr, and her beloved son, Joseph Kettring.
