Karen R. Hull, age 58 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Karen was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 24, 1957 and has been a longtime resident of the Fremont area. Karen graduated from Fremont High School in 1976 and later married Tim Hull on September 17, 1983 in Fremont. For the past 10 years – Karen worked at, later became a co-owner and eventually full owner of Quilt Something New in Fremont. Karen enjoyed sewing, quilting and embroidery but especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. Karen is survived by her husband, Tim of Fremont; her children, Teresa (Jeremy) DePew of Eaton Rapids; Stephanie Fullmer of Fremont; Rachel (Ben) Deur of Grant; Anthony Hull of Los Alamos, New Mexico; her grandchildren, Kaiden Robbins, Hailey Robbins, Drake Hartger, Erin DePew, and Caleb Deur; son-in-law, Russ Robbins; her uncle, William "Bill" (Lois) VanDyke of Fremont; several cousins including a special cousin, Mark VanDyke; her mother and father-in-law, Laura and Carl Hull of Fremont; several sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Richard Hansen in 1963 and her mother, Kathryn Hansen in 2013. VISITATION : Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 1-2pm at Fremont Christian Church, Disciples of Christ with MEMORIAL SERVICES : Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2pm at the Fremont Christian Church, Disciples of Christ (10 East Elm Street Fremont MI 49412). INTERMENT : Clark Cemetery.
