Karen J. Roberson, age 55 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2001 at her home following a lingering illness. She was born on January 30, 1946 in Grant to Lyle and Geneve (Gutherie) Eaton and married Ron Roberson on June 1, 1972 in White Cloud. She has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where she was a homemaker and had worked at Wolverine Shoe Manufacturing in Big Rapids for several years. She enjoyed crochet and spending time with her children. She is survived by her husband, Ron; her children, Ryan (Karen) Roberson of Vandenburg Air Force Base, California; Vernon Roberson of White Cloud; her mother, Geneve Eaton of White Cloud; brothers and sisters, Donald (Donna) Eaton of Croton; Vernon (Janice) Eaton of White Cloud; Gloria (Alton) Dezess of Fort Pierce, Florida; Kathleen (Robert) Martin of Fremont; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Lyle and a brother, Brad Eaton. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 31, 2001 from the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Rev. Richard Hoogerhyde presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
