Obituary

Karmeth "Kerm" Gross, age 54 of White Cloud and formerly of Wolverine Lake, Michigan, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2002 at his home following a lingering illness. He was born on October 17, 1947 in Brush Creek, Kentucky to Kelly and Verneda (Drake) Gross and married Raymonda VanRiette on April 11, 1981 in Walled Lake, Michigan. Kerm had been a booth cleaner at the GMC Truck and Bus Company in Pontiac for 31 years until his retirement. He was a life member of the HOGS; was an avid hunter and enjoyed building and tinkering. He was a member of the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church in Novi, Michigan. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his wife, Raymonda of White Cloud; his children, Jennifer (Bill) Hicks of Grand Rapids; Myra Ellen (Steve) Moore of Waterford; Corey (Charles) Gross of Auburn Hills; Kelly Hayes Gross of Farmington Hills;; his mother, Verneda Gross of Walled Lake; 1 grandson, Ryan Moore; sisters and brothers, Dixie Lee Clark of New Smyrna, Florida; William Gross of White Lake; Charles Henry Gross of Walled Lake; Marie Smith of Tennessee; Gary Gross of Wixom; Twila Sinkbell of Wixom; Talitha LeVeque of Kalkaska; Raymond Gross of Brighton; David Gross of Hartland; his father and mother-in-law, Mary Lou and Raymond VanRiette of Roseville. He was preceded in death by his father, Kelly Gross on July 14, 1999. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Pastor Bill Gross presiding with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery.
