Katherine C. "Kay" Caniff, age 98 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Regency of Fremont. Kay was born on February 8, 1924 in Grand Rapids to Ralph and Elizabeth (Weaver) Kendall and later married Paul Caniff Jr. on April 17, 1951 in Indiana. Paul preceded her in death on January 20, 2003. Katherine had worked as a production worker in the cookie making industry in Grand Rapids for many years until her retirement and then moved to the White Cloud area in 1979 from Grand Rapids. Kay is survived by her daughter, Mary Toft of Rockford; several grandchildren. Kay was preceded in death by her husband Paul Caniff Jr. and her sister. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
