Katherine Crawford Hoskins, age 99 of Swartz Creek, formerly of Fremont, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Regency at Grand Blanc Nursing Center. Katherine was born on December 10, 1917 in Muskegon to Michael and Anna (Boar) Pavlovic and later married Herman Crawford on September 6, 1936. Herman preceded her in death on November 16, 1987. Katherine later married Howard Hoskins and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1995. Katherine had owned and operated Bridgeton Grocery Store with her husband, Herman for several years and later began work at Gerber Products Company in Fremont and later retired from Bull's Orchard in Bailey. Katherine had been an avid walker and enjoyed riding her bike, was known for raising roses, enjoyed crocheting, baking, gardening and sewing and always enjoyed visiting her shut in friends. She will be missed by all.

Katherine is survived by her children, LaVone LaPree of Zephyr Hills, Florida; Maxine Sissons of Swartz Creek, Michigan; Darrell Crawford of Fremont; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her brother, George (Beverly) Pavlovic of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. Katherine was preceded in death by her son, Robert Crawford; her daughter, Evelyn Morrow; her sisters, Betty Herman, Christine Zosack, Elizabeth Pavlovic, Mildred Millis and Anne Faegar; her brothers, Steve Pavlovic, John Pavlovic, and Michael Pavlovic.

VISITATION : Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:30pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel.
