Kathleen Gibson Kathleen H. Gibson, age 65 of Walker, passed away Friday, February 4, 2000 at the Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. She was born on November 22, 1934 in Muskegon to Edward and Philena (Lattin) Edson and married Johnie P. Gibson Sr. on July 18, 1960 in Grand Rapids. Johnie preceded her in death on October 7, 1987. She has been a lifelong resident of the Grand Rapids area and was presently employed at Valuland, a WorldWide Christian Retail Store where she also donated many hours. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Steve) Stein of Grand Rapids; Vicki (Craig) Boyer of Twin Lake; Johnie (Maria) Gibson of San Diego, CA; Robin Gibson and fiance, Kevin Teale of Grand Rapids; nine grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her mother, Philena Edson of Grand Haven; sisters, Maxine (Tommy) Crotty of Muskegon; Shirley (Roger) Connelly of Columbia, Maryland; brothers, David (Gerri) Edson of Apple Valley, Minnesota; Maurice (Sheila) Edson of Muskegon; Doug (Pam) Edson of Wichita, Kansas. Her father, Edward, preceded her in death in 1967. Memorial services were held on Monday, February 7, 2000 from the Grant Wesleyan Church with Pastor Vernon LeFeber presiding.
