Kathryn Diane Sampson, 69, of Holton, passed away

Kathryn was born January 28, 1957, the daughter of Clinton and Alberta Douglas. She married Wayne Sampson in 1982 and together then enjoyed 43 years of marriage until his death in 2024. Kathryn enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, birds and most of all her grandchildren. She was a loving, driven, hard-working, empathetic, compassionate woman with a huge heart. She will be deeply missed.

Kathryn is survived by: her children, Josh (Brittany) Fulton, Amanda (Jason) Garrow, Kari Sampson, Melissa Johnston, Barbara (Josh Taylor) Wood, and Robert Sampson; a host of 23 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Buddy (Julie) Douglas, and Brad Douglas; and close friend Barbara and Tommy McMillen.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; daughter, Bonnie Sampson; son-in-law, Chris Johnston; grandchildren, Bryce, Alyssa, and MacKenzie; and sister-in-law, Dawn Bowers.

Cremation will take place and services will take place at a later date.
