Kathryn L. "Kathy" Horvath, age 66 of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at her home. Kathy was born on January 23, 1951 in Fremont to Donald and Janette (Webster) Dunham and graduated from Fremont High School. Kathy married Frank T. Horvath on January 23, 1971 in Fremont. She has been a lifelong resident of the area where she had been a homemaker and enjoyed the Michigan outdoors as well as flower gardening. Kathy also enjoyed traveling and had visited 48 of the 50 states in America. Kathy is survived by her husband, Frank of Fremont; her daughter, Angela (Eric) Raube of Three Forks, Montana; her mother, Janette (Marv) Deur of White Cloud; her father, Donald Dunham of Fremont; her sisters, Connie (Keith) Dykman of Bronson, Michigan; Janna Moon of Fremont; her brother, Ronald (Mary) Dunham of Fremont; several nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Jason D. Horvath on April 4, 1987. Following Kathy's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. Burial of the cremated remains will take place at the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery at a later date.
