Kathy L. (Hendrie) Menting, age 43 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at her home following a lingering illness. Kathy was born on February 25, 1967 in Fremont to Harold and Sharie (Middlecamp) Hendrie and graduated from Fremont High School in 1985. Kathy became a property manager of rental properties for several years and enjoyed listening to music, dancing and roller skating in her younger years. She is survived by her mother, Sharie (Brad) Geeting of Fremont; her father, Harold (Maxine Splitstone) Hendrie of Fremont; her sister and her family, Cindy (Mike) Cooper and Evan and Seth of Fountain, Michigan; her brother and his family, Troy (Danielle) Hendrie and James, Seth and Brody of Fremont; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. VISITATION : Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 4-6pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. MEMORIAL SERVICES : Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 6pm at Crandell Funeral Home.
