Keith Edward Essebaggers, age 81, of Fremont passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Fountain View Retirement Village of Grant. Keith was born on October 9, 1939, in Fremont to Edward Nicholas and Geneva May (Zagers) Essebaggers. Keith attended Western Michigan University, served his apprenticeship at the Muskegon Chronicle in 1961 before continuing in the family printing business with his father at the Fremont Printing Company. He proudly served in the United States Army and United States Army Reserves. Keith was a member of the AMVETS Post # 4250 in Newaygo, Rotary, Lions, Fremont Chamber of Commerce, Burro Masters Club, Grand Rapids Litho Club, and the Fremont United Methodist Church. Keith is survived by his children, Wendy (Charles "Buck") McIntosh of Grand Rapids, Amy (David) Johnson of Fremont, Molly Essebaggers of Fremont, and Keith David "Dave" (Erin) Essebaggers of Fremont; ten grandchildren, Brieanne (fiancé Kirk) Temberg, Aurora (fiancé Nate) Temberg, Whitney (Troy) Kurtz, Sydney Essebaggers, Audrey Johnson, Kylie (Corey) Makinen, Leah Wickstrom, Logan (Nicole) Essebaggers, Dylan Essebaggers, and Rhyan Essebaggers; three great-grandchildren, Travis, Ali, and Olivia; brother, Timothy Paul Essebaggers; and many special friends. He was preceded by his sister and brother-in-law, Janiece (LeRoy) Deur. A Memorial Service with military honors for Keith will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 7, 2021, at the Crandell Funeral Home with pastor Ron Workman officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 - 11 AM. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
