Obituary

Westbrook, Keith D. Mr. Keith D. Westbrook, age 91, peacefully entered into Glory on Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at his home in Lincoln Township. Keith was born on June 5, 1914, to John and Gladys (Millard) Westbrook and has lived his entire life in the Aetna area. He had been a farmer all his life and also had worked at the Gerber Products Company. He married Delorma Blohm in Aetna on October 21, 1948, and she preceded him to Heaven on April 19, 2001, after 53 years of marriage. Keith served in the United States Army during World War II as a Corporal, proudly serving 3 years over seas with General Clarks Fifth Army in Africa, Italy, France, and Germany. Keith was also the last living charter member of the Aetna Calvary Church, was a member of the Aetna School Board, served 5 years as Denver Township Supervisor, and on the Newaygo County Road Commission. He was a graduate of Michigan State College Short Course and a D.H.I.A. Tester. Keith is survived by his children, Marie (Harold) Richmann of Fremont and John (Christine) Westbrook of White Cloud; 4 grandchildren, Rachel (Robert) Domine, Carrie Westbrook, Vicki (Tim) Wimmer, and Julie Westbrook; 7 great-grandchildren, Dominick, Cory, Paige, Brandon, Tyler, Levi Wimmer and Caleb Cereska; sister-in-law Ruth (Francis) Overly; brother in laws, Lewis (Sharon) Blohm, Rev. George (Marilyn) Bulson, and Cecil Davis; many nieces and nephews, Aetna Calvary Church family, many special friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by brothers, Buell, John, and Leila Westbrook; sister, Grace Davis; sisters-in-law, Marleah and husband Jack Bush and Eloise Bulson. Funeral services were held on Monday, February 27, 2006, from the Aetna Calvary Church with Pastor Phil Jones presiding. Interment will be in the Lincoln Township Cemetery.
