Kelly Anne Pickerd, age 34 of Grant, passed away Sunday, February 09, 2003 at her home following a long illness. She was born on February 20, 1968 in Ionia , Michigan to Robert and Betty (Fosburg) Minaker and had worked as a production worker at Michigan Bulb until her disability following an automobile accident. She has been a resident of the Grant area since April 1988 and enjoyed collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia and crocheting. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Betty Minaker of Twin Lake; brothers, Brad Minaker of Twin Lake; Ricky Minaker of Twin Lake; Robert Minaker Jr. of Muskegon; Brian (Crystal) Minaker of Hersey, Michigan; her sister, Becky (Phillip) Hickey of New Era, Michigan; her very special husband, Timothy Pickerd of Grant; her dog, Dog; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; mother & father-in-law, Jacob & Opal Pickerd of Grant; sister-in-laws, Deborah (Larry) Smith of Grand Rapids; Karen (Donald) Troop of Grant; brother-in-law, Jake (Tracy) Pickerd of Twin Lake. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ora & Edith Fosburg; Anthony Bruce & Bernadine Minaker; her uncle, William Minaker & Dale Fosburg; her aunt, Nancy Wireman. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with interment in the Easton Township Cemetery near Ionia .
