Obituary

Baldwin, Kenneth L. Kennneth Lewis Baldwin, age 81 of Hesperia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 06, 2005 at his home. Ken was born on May 4, 1924 in Grawn, Michigan to J.C. and Una Baldwin and later moved to the Muskegon area. He had been a production worker at Teledyne Continental Motors Company for over 30 years until his retirement. Ken had enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening and had been very active in his younger years until his failing health. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Robert) Holbrook of Hesperia; his grandchildren, Rod (Terry) Kamphorst of Kalamazoo; Robert (Tam) Deater of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his great grandchildren, Alex and Emily Deater; his sister-in-law, Dorothy Yeater of Hesperia; his brothers, Lloyd Baldwin of Manton; Harold Baldwin of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Woodworth and by his brothers, Johnny, Ivan, and Louis Baldwin. Military graveside services were held on Friday, June 17, 2005 at the West Hesperia Cemetery under the auspices of the Holton American Legion.
