Carlson Sr., Kenneth C. White Cloud Kenneth C. Carlson Sr., age 77, of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2002 at the Michigan Veterans Home in Grand Rapids . He was born on January 3, 1925 , in Woodville, Newaygo County to Oscar and Frieda (Reed) Carlson and married Donna Joyce Waybill on July 30, 1949 . He has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where he had been a truck driver for the Newaygo County Road Commission until his retirement. He had also been active in the White Cloud Little League where he was a coach. He is survived by his wife, Donna Joyce Carlson of White Cloud; children, Sheryll Carlson of Zeeland, David Carlson of White Cloud, Joyce (Martin) Crotser of Newaygo, Sandra Bishop of Fremont, Larry Carlson of Hastings, Kenneth Carlson Jr. of White Cloud, and Ronald Ron Carlson of Ludington; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and brother, Carl (Evelyn) Carlson of Big Rapids. Funeral services were held on Monday, September 23, 2002 , from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with military rites given by the Newaygo V.F.W. Sportsmans Post #4249 with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery . For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider the White Cloud Little League or The White Cloud Teen Center.
