Kerry Bristol Thomas, age 66 of South Haven, formerly of Freeland, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her home. Kerry was born on August 26, 1954 in Three Rivers to Robert D. and Joyce Ellen (Deisch) Bristol and graduated from Fremont High School in 1972. Kerry later graduated from Central Michigan University with a Teaching Degree. Kerry has various jobs throughout her lifetime, the later part was spent caring for her mother at home. Kerry married Fred Carl Thomas in 2007 in Freeland and moved to the South Haven area in 2018. Kerry enjoyed being at the pool and beach, reading, burning 3 wick candles and shopping, but she truly cherished spending time with grandchildren. Kerry is survived by her husband, Fred Carl Thomas of South Haven, Michigan, her children and grandchildren; Kaleigh Rae (John) Cope and their children, Denver Johnson, baby boy Cope and Chloe Cope; Chelsea Paige (Micah) Dingman and their children, Silas and Jax Dingman; step sons, Nathan (Kathy Christman) Thomas on son, Isaac; Nicholas (Jami) Thomas and their children, Landon and Hailey; Andrew (Heidi Moyer) Thomas; her nieces and nephews, Gunnar-Wills Bristol (Catherine) Martin and their children, Violet and Zinnia Martin; Skye-Kezian Evaleigh (Ethan) Felsing; Koltar-Ruark Bristol (Deanna) Martin and their sons, Ronan Martin and baby boy Martin; Rane-Mariah Gabriel (fiancé, Marcus) Martin; Huntar-Teke Samoyyah (Rachael) Martin. Kerry was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce E. Bristol on July 7, 2021; her father, Robert D. Bristol on August 21, 2014 and by her sister, Shelly Bristol Martin in 2002.
