Keven W. McCastle, age 36 of Fremont, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 25, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Keven was born on March 22, 1973 in Fremont to Dale and Mikalee (Parks) McCastle and graduated from Fremont High School in 1991. Keven married Carla Schelske on June 18, 1994 in Muskegon and was a member of the Fremont Wesleyan Church. Keven was a foreman for Kruszynski Construction, worked for Beattie Farms, and was a jack of all trades to his many friends. Keven enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be in Michigan or Colorado, where he was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper which he did with his son and daughters. Keven was inquisitive about how things worked and enjoyed learning new ideas. He designed and built his own log home. Keven always had a good sense of humor and most times kept a laid back attitude in life. A friend to all and enemy to none. Keven is survived by his wife, Carla of Fremont; his children, Samantha, Maddison, and Jakob McCastle all of Fremont; his parents, Dale & Mikalee (Parks) McCastle of Fremont; his mother and father-in-law, William & Frieda Schelske of Twin Lake; grandmother-in-law, Wilma Schelske of Holton; his sisters, Kristin (T. Gary) Benson of Branson, Missouri; Kelly (Shawn) Walker of White Cloud; sister-in-law, Debbie (Mark) Stanfield of Fort Collins, Colorado; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; many special friends. VISITATION : Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Fremont Wesleyan Church 918 Garden Street Fremont. FUNERAL SERVICES : Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at 2pm at the church. INTERMENT : Jewell Cemetery.
