Kevin Michael Robins, age 63 of Hesperia, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 following a short illness at the Spectrum Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. Kevin was born on October 4, 1958 in Grant to Donald Leroy and Patricia Ann (King) Robins and graduated from Fremont High School in 1977. Kevin joined the United States Army and later reenlisted in the United States Army National Guard where he served for 20 years until his discharge. Kevin also had been a machinist at NARCO in White Cloud for 40 years until his retirement. Kevin met and married Kathy Scott on April 7, 1979 in Fremont. Kevin enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working in and taking care of his yard and property, watching the wildlife on his property, spending time with friends and spending time with his grandchildren. Kevin is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy of Hesperia; his children, Marci (Randy) Slater of Fremont; Melissa Bolles of Hesperia; his grandchildren, Lucas Walker, Kaden Walker, Lauren Slater, Sadie Bolles, Brock Bolles; his brothers, Mark (Sue) Robins of Great Falls, Montana; John Robins of White Cloud; his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Helen Scott of Fremont; his brother-in-law, Bruce Scott of Holland; his sister-in-law, Barb Schlattman of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia A. Robins on July 9, 2021 and his father, Donald L. Robins on October 13, 2003.
