Kyle L. Coon, age 62, of Holton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Muskegon. Kyle was born on August 19, 1959, in Fremont to David R. Coon and Mary (Dore) Follett and graduated from Holton High School. Kyle was a self-published author and also contributed to many outdoor writer's groups. He had worked as a national sales manager for several companies including Tippmann Sports, and KL Industries. Kyle also fished professionally on the Bassmaster's & FLW Tour. His travels took him to every State, but none compared to his love for salmon fishing in Alaska. Kyle was currently a caregiver at the Cedar Creek Adult Foster Care Home in Holton. Kyle had been active in Decolores Ministries, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Kyle is survived by his daughters and grandchildren, Paris (Bradley) Kirby of Evart and children, Zelda, Kaizen, Lillianna, Korvin; Skyler (Derek Alderman) David of Fremont and children, Savanna and Brantley; his father, David (Fien) R. Coon of Fort Myers, Florida; brother and sister, David (Lori) Coon of North Muskegon and Coleen (Rick) Hawkins of Holton; ½ sisters and ½ brother, Ronda (David) Ames of Whitehall; Ethan Coon of Florida; Julie Coon of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
