Richards, L. Leone L. Leone Richards, age 91 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday at the Metron Nursing Center in Big Rapids. Leone was born on April 8, 1914 in Goodwell Township to Fred and Cora Vera (Branyan) Nestle and married Teddie L. Richards on May 27, 1935 in Ohio. Teddie preceded her in death on October 20, 1991. She has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where she became a member of the Woodville Christian Reformed Church, currently Woodville Community Church, and taught Sunday school and Bible School for many years. She also had been a school teacher at the Woodville Country School until her retirement. She was an avid homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and working on the farm. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Landgraf of Stanwood; Myrna (James) Bolton of White Cloud; her daughter-in-law, Marian Richards of Big Rapids; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; her sister-in-laws, Joyce Nestle of Englewood, Florida; Mildred Hogan of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jerald Richards; Teddie A. Richards; brother, Maxwell Fritz Nestle; sisters, Dorothy Gronso and Maxine Wright. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 27, 2005 from the Woodville Community Church with Pastor Doug Warner and Pastor Foster Brummel presiding with interment in the Goodwell Township Cemetery.
