Schoonmaker, Leo George "L.G." Leo George L.G. Schoomaker, age 84 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. L.G. was born on September 1, 1922 in Rockford, Michigan to Peter and Edith (West) Schoonmaker and later married Susan Lee (Brady) on June 5, 1996 in Morley, Michigan. He had been a truck driver for Darling Freight for several years until his retirement. He also served in the United States Armed Forces. L.G. is survived by his wife, Susan Lee Schoonmaker of White Cloud; 3 sons, several nieces and nephews including Sarah Gaines. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie; 5 sisters and 5 brothers. Private graveside services were held at a later time following cremation. Friends may consider the L.G.
