Larry L. Johnson, age 47 of Hesperia, formerly of Muskegon, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at his home following a short illness. Larry was born on April 12, 1960 in Shelby, Michigan to Earl and Margaret (Hanson) Johnson. Larry had been a auto mechanic and repaired electronics for several years and enjoyed fishing, listening to music, drawing, collecting various items, and enjoyed the Michigan outdoors. He also served in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Peter) Osbo of Muskegon; Miranda Johnson of Muskegon; Rachel Johnson of Muskegon; his grandchildren, Isaac Osbo, Alex Osbo, Eddie Burt III; his fianc, Merilee Patterson of Hesperia; his mother, Margaret Smith of Muskegon; his father, Earl Johnson of Newaygo; brothers and sisters, Ronald (Anna) Johnson of Muskegon; Donald (Marsha) Johnson of Hesperia; Judy (Chuck) Johnson of Muskegon; Darlene (Matt) Johnson Mallard of Muskegon; Elizabeth (Wayne) Milliron of Muskegon; Brenda (Geno) Blumer of Hudsonville; William Smith of Muskegon; his former wife, Jennifer Ritz of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; 6 step brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Shields. Memorial services were held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the Faith Baptist Church in Fremont following cremation with interment in Muskegon.
