Larry James Thomas, age 60, of Fremont passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017, at his home with his family by his side. Larry was born on December 24, 1956, in Muskegon to Gerald Gene and Sonja Marie (Shinew) Thomas and was a self-employed carpenter. Larry later married Judith Marie Hanes on April 4, 1992, in Las Vegas and enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, dirt bikes, and scuba diving. He cherished his time with his family and friends and liked playing in the "Price Garage."

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jude; daughter, Elizabeth Marie (Matthew) Oudsema of Muskegon; grandchildren, Violet and Lily; parents, Gerald and Sonja of Muskegon; brother and sisters, Pamela (Gary) Anderson of Fremont, Lisa (Chris) Carson of Muskegon, Scott (Amy) Thomas of Lakeland, Florida, Julie Thomas of Muskegon, and Jeanie Thomas of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Larry will be held at 2 PM, on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at the home of Craig and Annie Price (9330 Roosevelt Road in Holton) with Scott Thomas officiating.
