Laura Alma Harris, age 92, of Holton, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2002, in Muskegon. She was born on January 12, 1910, in Swatara, Minnesota, to James and Anna (Rodrick) Strong and had worked at the Gerber Products Company for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Anne (Tommie) Thomas of Allegan; 3 sons, Bruce (Lou) Harris of Cloverville, Michigan, Forrest Harris of Holton, and Francis (Beverly) Harris of Twin Lake; 21 grandchildren; over 38 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Harris and grandson, William Harris. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 7, 2002, from the Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel with Rev.
