Jennings, Laura Lorraine Laura Lorraine Jennings, age 101 of Grand Rapids and formerly of Fremont, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2003 at the Cottonwood Manor in Jenison. Laura was born on January 6, 1902 at her families home in the rural Fremont area to Moses and Lucy (Tossey) Bell and later moved to Grand Rapids . She married Leslie P. Jennings and they were married for 59 years until Leslie passed away in 1983. She had worked in the diesel automotive industry during World War II and later worked and retired from Henry Smith Floral in Grand Rapids . She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine (Frederick) Geigle of Fremont; Ilene (Richard) DeWildt of South Haven, Michigan; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Memorial graveside services were held on Saturday, May 17, 2003 at 11:00am from the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont .
