Turner, Laura Elizabeth Laura Elizabeth Turner, age 87 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, January 02, 2004 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on November 5, 1916 in Russelville, Arkansas and married Melvin Carl Turner on June 23, 1942 in Vancouver, Washington. Melvin preceded her in death in 1971. She is survived by her children, Martha Gaines and the late David Gaines of White Cloud; Virginia Gail ( Jerry) Alley of Marston, Missouri; Bobby Dean (Chris) Turner of Wyoming, Michigan; Betty Deulna of Baytown, Texas; Carl (Dena) Turner of Holland, Michigan; Elizabeth Ann (Jim) Kaminski of West Olive, Michigan; 20 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Ruby Davison of Libourn, Missouri; Ruth Stevens of Michigan City, Indiana; Jessie Stevens of Blythaville, Arkansas; Kattie Gardner of Truman, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Carl Turner in 1971 and one son, Jimmy Lee Turner in 1970 and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 3, 2004 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Dennis Kleiman of the New Life Apostolic Assembly Church presiding and services on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 from the McDaniel Funeral Service, Inc. in Kennett, Missouri with interment in the Dunklin Memorial Gardens in Kennett, Missouri.
