Klimkiewicz, Laurice I. Laurice I. Klimkiewicz, age 84 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday evening at the Metron Nursing Center in Big Rapids. Laurice was born on October 27, 1921 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Lawrence and Ruth (Thompson) Baker and later married Joseph Klimkiewicz. Joseph preceded her in death on November 2, 2002. Laurice has been a resident of the White Cloud are for the past 25 years when she moved from the Jackson, Michigan area. She had been a homemaker and enjoyed, cooking and baking, playing bingo, crocheting, knitting and the Michigan outdoors. She is survived by her children, Geraldine Cochran of White Cloud; Joseph (Shirley) Klimkiewicz of Jackson; her grandchildren, Daniel, Debra, Dawn, Mitchell, Edward, Timothy, Thomas, Stacey; her great grandchildren, Kurtis, Diana, Crystal, Richard, Andrew, Nick, Heather, Kayla, Amber, David, Shannon, Michael, Tim Jr., Stacey; her great great grandchildren, Tyler and Destiny; her sister, Polly Johnson of Texas; her brother, Mervyn Baker of Arizona. Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 17, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Family and Friends of Laurice and funeral celebrant Curt Crandell presiding.
