Lavern E. Baker, age 67, of White Cloud, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012, at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial. Lavern was born on May 29, 1944, in Ludington to Carl and Pearl (Kelly) Baker and married Angela Marie Nagle on August 25, 2007, in Reno, Nevada. Lavern was a real estate agent and along with having many other talents, served in the Army during Vietnam, was past president of the Lions Club, and cared for many foster children. Lavern loved spending time with his family and was a member of the Faith Bible Church in White Cloud. Lavern is survived by his wife, Angela of White Cloud; children, Pendance (Tracy) Guarisco of Newaygo, Larry (Shannon)Baker Jr. of California, Richard Baker of Walker, MI., William Baker of Newaygo, and Wintu and Hopi Baker at home ; 47 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 19 brothers and sisters.
