Hall, LaVonne Pauline Newaygo LaVonne Pauline Hall, age 72, of Newaygo passed away Thursday morning at home. She was born on July 1, 1927, in Bailey to Gust E. & Jennie M. (Anderson) Carlson and married Robert Palmer Hall on December 12, 1946, in Grand Rapids. She worked at the Newaygo City Offices until her retirement and was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church of White Cloud. She is survived by her loving husband Robert P. Hall of Newaygo; son Robert Alan Hall of Margate, Florida; grandson Shawn R. Hall of New Jersey; sisters Lucille Miller of Lowell, Hildur (Robert) Rake of Newaygo, and Alyce (Richard) Crago of Muskegon; brothers Clifford (Thelma) Carlson of Bailey, Carl (Tillie) Carlson of Florida, and Phillip (Dorothy) Carlson of Bailey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Gust & Jennie Carlson, brother Irving Carlson, and twin brother Paul Carlson. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 3, 2000, at the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Rev. Richard Hoogerhyde presiding. Interment will be in Chubbuck Cemetery.
