Fosheim, Lawrence Jack Lawrence Jack Fosheim, age 77 of Newaygo, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2000 at his home in Newaygo. He was born on September 12, 1922 in Grand Rapids to Anton and Iva Christine (Hendricksen) Fosheim. He married Alice Mae Scott on June 20, 1944 and she preceded him in death on December 26, 1973. He married Faith Wyn on June 7, 1991. He was a Fremont High School English teacher from 1949 until his retirement in 1985. He was a faithful member of the First Reformed Church in Fremont and a Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Faith of Newaygo; children, Deborah (Dick) Borst of Jenison; Mary Beth (Greg) Westbrook of Grand Haven; Rich (Ann) Wyn of Newaygo; John Wyn of Newaygo; Larry Wyn of Newaygo; Patti Wyn of Croton; Donald Wyn of Wyoming; 19 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Ivan (Barbra) Fosheim of Grand Haven; Edward (Betty) Fosheim of Granbury, Texas; sister-in-law, Gloria Scott of Grand Haven. He was preceded in death by sister, Evelyn; sister-in-law, Kathryn Anderson; brother-in-law, Albert Scott Jr. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 19, 2000 from the First Reformed Church in Fremont with Rev. Vernon VanDerWerff presiding with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Jack Fosheim Memorial Fund C/O First Reformed Church in Fremont.
