Obituary

Dunham, Lawrence J. Lawrence Larry Dunham, age 73 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, August 04, 2006 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Larry was born on November 16, 1932 in Big Prairie Township to Glen Phillip and Kathryn Opal (Laymen) Dunham and later married Charlotte Libey on May 15, 1982 in White Cloud. Larry has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area and had worked at the Sealed Power Company in Muskegon for 37 years as a piston ring molder until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gaming at the casino, playing cards and enjoyed playing Herbie and Joker poker. Larry was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces where he served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by is wife, Charlotte of White Cloud; his children, Douglas & Jeanne Dunham of White Cloud; Donna (Gene) Schotanus of White Cloud; Aleica (Brian) Seabrook of White Cloud; Kelley (Art) Sitter of Morley; Calvin Jackson of Amble; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Donald Dunham and special friend, Esther of Fremont; Charles (Lois) Dunham of Greenville; Robert (Violet) Dunham of Muskegon; Louise Linderer of Newaygo; Carolyn Grow of Greenville; Arlene Wallace of Cedar Springs; Jean (Clifford) Plowman of White Cloud; very special friends, Blacksheep of White Cloud; Judy & Richard Mills; Roy & Lisa Wright; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Grace Dunham of Trenton, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Dunham. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 7, 2006 from the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Rev. Richard C. Hoogerhyde presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery. Military rights were given by the Newaygo VFW, Sportsmans Post #4249. Friends may consider the Rennuci House at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids for memorial contributions in memory of Larry. I miss going for ice cream and going for rides to look for deer. I miss the way we played cards and the laughs that were shared. I still have the quarter, I haven't gone yet. I always expected that we would go together. I always dreamed that you and I would dance at my wedding and you would be there to see my children be born I guess I took the time we had together for granted. I love you and miss you so much......
