Lawrence M. "Larry" Seymour Jr., age 52 of New Carlisle, Indiana and formerly of Hardy Dam, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 following a short battle with cancer. Larry was born on November 9, 1964 in Venice, Florida and later moved to Grand Rapids where he graduated from Godwin Heights High School. Larry later moved to the Hardy Dam area where he enjoyed being in the Michigan outdoors and hunting. Larry had been a merchandiser for Pepsi Cola Corporation prior to this diagnosis with cancer. Larry was known for being an innovator and creator and wanted to make at least 1 person smile everyday in the hopes that those smiles would be his smiles forever.

Larry is survived by his fiancée, Marla Knox of New Carlisle, Indiana; his children, Tiffany Seymour of Kent City; Stephany Seymour of Kent City; Nathan Seymour of Grand Rapids; Brytany Seymour of Chippewa Lake, Michigan; step children, Taylor McDonald of White Cloud; Bubba McDonald of White Cloud; Austin Owens of New Carlisle, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; his mother and father, Yvonne and RJ Young of Waycross, Georgia; his sisters, Debbyee (Joey) Dixon of Waycross, Georgia; April (John) Bloye of Grand Rapids; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
