Williamson, Leila G. (Webster-Wildfong) Leila G. (Webster-Wildfong) Williamson, age 86 of Cedar Springs, formerly of Hesperia and Kalamazoo, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2007 at the Heartland Hospice Facility in Grand Rapids. Leila was born on November 16, 1920 in Denver Township to John Ellis and Gladys Estelle (Cochrane) Webster and grew up in the Denver Township area. Leila graduated from Fremont High School in 1940 and later graduated from the Western Michigan University in 1963 with a Bachelors of Education Degree and taught schools at the Comstock Schools in Kalamazoo for many years until her retirement. Leila was raised in the Methodist Church and held onto her strong faith throughout her lifetime. She was active in the MEA, had been active in the Democratic Party, was a former Girl Scout Leader and Sunday school teacher. Leila also enjoyed going out for cake and ice cream with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Dawn (David) Williamson of Cedar Springs; Fred B. (Diane) Wildfang of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; her grandsons, Michael Williamson and Brandon (Annika) Schott; her granddaughter, Sarah Wildfang; great grandchildren, Amanda Purchase, Lindsey Williamson, Ryan Williamson, Victoria Schott, Alex Schott, Jayson Schott, Matt Schott, Cameron Schott, Parker Schott, Daniel Williamson, Rebecca Williamson, Zachary Williamson; her sister-in-law, Elaine Webster of South Bend, Indiana. She was preceded in death by; grandsons, David Williamson and Steven Schott; brothers, Cloyce Webster, Lloyd Webster and sister, Alta Webster.
