Antor-Beck, Leola Leola Antor-Beck, age 85 of Newaygo, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 9, 2006. Leola was born on February 28, 1921 in Lansing to Leonard and Ceolia (Sogge) Hockin and had been a data processor at the Old Kent Bank in Grand Rapids for many years until her retirement. Leola married Bernard Antor on May 10, 1947 and he preceded her in death on August 29, 1974. She later married Fred Beck on February 27, 1990. Leola was a member of the Newaygo VFW, enjoyed quilting, sewing, crossword puzzles, cooking, game shows and her web tv. She is survived by her husband, Fred of Newaygo; her children, Frank Antor and special friend, Bev, of Rockford; Anita (Duane) Putnam of Greenville; Bette Antor of Novato, California; Peggy (Mike) Mercer of Newaygo; Tom Antor of Howard City; Bill (Marie) Antor of Conklin; Roxanne (Tom) Ray of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Sandy (Macgill) Antor of Crofton, Maryland; 23 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; special nephew, Scotty Hockin and great nieces, Emily and Sarah Hockin; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from the Newaygo VFW with Rev. Jerrold Jones of the First Congregational Church of Greenville presiding with interment in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Alpine Township.
