Leona G. Buttleman, age 75 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 at her daughters home following a 5 year battle with cancer. Leona was born on September 14, 1935 in Webberville, Michigan to Henry J. and Juanita V. (Wolever) LaBelle and moved to the White Cloud area at an early age. Leona married Earl Boots E. Buttleman Sr. on May 12, 1951 in Fremont and Boots preceded her in death on May 11, 1998. Leona had worked at Wolverine Worldwide for several years until her retirement and was a member of the Big Prairie Community Church where she had taught Sunday school for many years. Leona was a member of the longtime member of TOPS, member of the CB Radio and Motorcycle Club; had been a Girl Scout leader; enjoyed playing bingo, riding the SS Badger to Wisconsin and had been a avid square dancer. She is survived by her children, Earl Butch (Linda) Buttleman Jr.; Victoria (Stuart) Ringler; Richard Weasel (Karen) Buttleman; Timothy (Donna) Buttleman; daughter-in-law, Diane Buttleman, all of White Cloud; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; her brothers, Henry (Dorothy) LaBelle Jr. of Howard City; Lloyd (Nancy) LaBelle of Barrington; William LaBelle of White Cloud; her sister, Ruth Krueger of White Cloud; several aunts, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Jesse Buttleman on July 1, 2006 VISITATION : Monday, December 27, 2010 from 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud. FUNERAL SERVICES : Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 1pm at the funeral home. INTERMENT : Big Prairie Township Cemetery.
