Obituary

Jackson, Leonelle "Lee" M Leonelle Lee M. Jackson, age 84 of Twin Lake, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2005 at her home. Lee was born on April 23, 1921 in Holton to William and Emma (Andersen) Swenson. Her father, William passed away when Lee was 8 years old and Emma later married John C. Fox who raised Lee until she later married Charles Robert Jackson on January 31, 1942 in Greenup, Kentucky. She grew up in the Holton area and attended Kalamazoo College where she received her teaching certificate. She and Chuck moved from Holton to California in 1953 and then moved back to Twin Lake in 2003. Lee enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Chuck Jackson of Twin Lake; her children, Bob (Judy) Jackson of Sedona, Arizona; Nancy Hawkins of Rancho Santa Margarita, California; Paula Webb of Ojai, California; Cheryle (Doug) Watson of Twin Lake; David (Jamie) Jackson of Fremont; Diana (Frank) Barrette of Upland, California; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; her sister2, Gladys Wilks of Holton; Marjorie Jackson of Holton. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Jackson Jr. and by her sister, Frances Cregg. Private graveside services were held at the Oakwood Cemetery in Holton following cremation.
