LeRoy Henry Eitniear, age 79, of Holton passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at his home. LeRoy was born on March 25, 1939, in Oceana County and had worked as a boilermaker most of his life. LeRoy married Deborah Paulson on August 30, 1987, in Fayette, Michigan, and enjoyed guns, dirt track racing, and motorcycling. He was a retired member of the Muskegon Outriders and was better known as "Monk." LeRoy proudly served in the United States Navy and was Past Commander of both the Holton and Hesperia American Legions.
LeRoy is survived by his loving wife, Deb; children, Michael (Lindsey) Eitniear, Jennifer Vilminot, Brenda Eitniear, Elizabeth Eitniear, Nicole (John) Studabaker, and Clayton (Sarah) Snider; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Beatrice Paul; and 4 half sisters and 1 half brother. He was preceded by his brothers, Robert Eitniear and Russell Eitniear; and sister, Helen Chester.
