Leroy Albert Host, age 54 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2002, at his home following a lingering illness. He was born on December 3, 1947, in Hesperia to Roy Albert and Geneva (Bromley) Host and married Goldie Helen Stout on January 6, 1990, in Fremont. He had been an automotive mechanic for several years. He is survived by his wife, Goldie of Fremont; his children, Vera (Donald) Emory of Florida, Heather Host of Florida, Jamie Host of Fremont, Sherrie Host of Fremont, Debra (Mark) Maka of White Cloud, and Angela (Doug) Califf of Fremont; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Joyce (Bruce) Hite, Sue (Mike) Shively, Nancy (Jack) Shively, Joann Vanderstilt, Betty Story, and Shirley Mills; brothers, Ken (Marge) Host, Garry (Shirley) Host, Chuck (Diane) Host, Joe (Tammy) Host, Herbie (Cindy) Host, Bill (Terry) Mayle and Dick (Carol) Mayle; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral memorial services were held on Saturday, February 2, 2002, at 3:00pm from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel.
