LeRoy Allen Phillips, age 75, of White Cloud passed away on Tuesday March 19, 2019, at Spectrum Health Services – Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. LeRoy was born on August 9, 1943, in Newaygo to Dwight Allen and Grace Myrtle (Thompson) Phillips and later married Mary Grace Jones on June 9, 1975, in White Cloud. LeRoy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the Michigan outdoors. He served in the United States Air Force and had operated a logging business with his father. More recently, he taught electronics at the vocational school. LeRoy is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Kevin (Nanette) Phillips, Kenny (Jennifer) Phillips, Sheila (Bill) Lingo, Sheri (Aric) Anderson, Kirk (Brandi) Phillips, Charity (David) Slough, Jonathan (Jamie) Phillips, Ronda (Cameron Ward) Phillips, Dwight Phillips, and Ronald Phillips; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria (Everett) Rein; and many nieces and nephews.
