LeRoy F. Stuthard, age 82 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, July 25, 2003 at the Cherry Blossom Manor in Hart. He was born on January 30, 1921 in White Cloud to Harry and Elsie Madeline (Knauss) Stuthard and married Myrna Grace Spade on April 26, 1945 in White Cloud. Myrna preceded him in death on July 11, 1998 . LeRoy has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where he had worked at RD Brooks Construction Company for several years and later at O.J. Briggs Lumber Company until his retirement. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Big Prairie Community Church and Life Member of the Newaygo V.F.W. Sportsmans Post #4249. He is survived by his daughter Ruth (Michael) Fox of Pentwater; his grandchildren, Susan (Jason) Gould of Grand Rapids; Michael Fox of Los Angeles, California; great grandchild, Taylor Gould; his sister, Margaret (Doran) Ditlow of Grant; Charles (Jane) Stuthard of Spring Lake. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna on July 11, 1998; his parents Harry in 1932 and Elsie Suthard on October 1, 1994; his brothers, Allen Stuthard on December 10, 1995 and Wayne Stuthard on July 28, 1992. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 29, 2003 from the Big Prairie Community Church with Rev. Arnold Guikema presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery .
