Letha Pearl Wilkinson, age 86 of Bitely, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 at her home. Letha was born on October 30, 1921 in Troy Township to Fred and Elma (Grant) Peterson and later married Marshall Wilkinson on July 8, 1944 in Baldwin. Marshall preceded her in death on March 1, 1995. Letha has been a lifelong resident of the Bitely area where she enjoyed playing Bingo and cards and was a member of the Bitely Womans Club. She is survived by her children, Dan (Yvonne) Wilkinson of Bitely; Ila Mae (Ronald) Fullerton of Luther; Sharlene (Clarence) Rothig of Luther; Herbert (Florence) Wilkinson of Bitely; Terry (Carol) Wilkinson of Bitely; Aloha (Charles) Burkett of Big Rapids; Pamela (Ken) Reid of Luther; her stepchildren, Cal (Debra) Wilkinson of Bitely; Lola Paquette of Bitely; Darold (Francis) Wilkinson of Bitely; 35 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mynnie Conley of Hesperia. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marva Scherer; her son, Donald Wilkinson; stepsons, Robert Wilkinson and Cecil Wilkinson. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from the Bitely Community Church with Pastor Lucky Fulton of the Amazing Grace Acres Church presiding with interment in the Troy Township Cemetery.
