Lila G. Rynberg, age 97 of Fremont, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Lila was born on August 1, 1918 in Big Prairie Township to Floyd and Iva (Lahman) Wilbur and graduated from Newaygo High School in 1936. Lila married John W. Rynberg on January 2, 1941 in Muskegon and John preceded her in death on May 16, 2004. Lila is survived by her sons, James Rynberg of Fremont; Thomas (Bernadette) Rynberg of Chicago, Illinois; Roger (Kathy) Rynberg of Sturgis, Michigan; John R. (Dee) Rynberg of Fremont; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David Rynberg. MEMORIAL SERVICES : Saturday, April 23, 2016 beginning at 10:45 a.m at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (714 Hillcrest Fremont MI 49412). The family will greet guests during a luncheon in the church fellowship hall immediately following the services. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : The Dogwood Center Entry and Driveway Accessibility Improvements Fund. A private interment service at Maple Grove Cemetery will precede the memorial service.
