Lillian L. Brown, age 82 of White Cloud, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Lillian was born on August 12, 1937 in Grand Rapids to Leroy and Elnora (Smith) Taylor and later married George F. Brown on January 26, 1957 in Grand Rapids. George preceded her in death on March 24, 1995. Lillian has been a long time resident of the White Cloud area and had been a child foster care and adult foster care provider and homemaker all her life. Lillian enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, playing Bingo and word search puzzles, but what brought her the most happiness was family activities, gatherings and babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lillian is survived by her children, Delia Helms of White Cloud; George (Lisha) Brown of Fremont; Judy (Matt) McLain of White Cloud; Ronald (Annette) Brown of Holton; Charles (Barb) Brown of Grand Rapids; Tina (Bob) Doody of White Cloud; 32 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Linda (Stanley) Cole of Marinesco, Michigan; Robert Taylor and special friend, Joe Murray of Fort Myers, Florida; Daniel Taylor of Hesperia; Mary Taylor of Six Lakes; June Taylor of Hesperia; several nieces and nephews; her special friend, Wendy at Transitional Health Services. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Goerge; her children, James Brown and Vivian Bitson; her sisters and brothers, Goldie Lanesky, Sandy Cole, Cliff Taylor and Tim Taylor. VISITATION : Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 12-2pm at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel with FUNERAL SERVICES : Thursday, January 16,2020 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel. INTERMENT : West Hesperia Cemetery in the spring of 2020. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Truenorth Coats for Kids Program. The family will meet at the Sherman Township Hall following funeral services for a time of luncheon and fellowship and everyone is invited to bring a dish to share.
