Lillian Jean Kelly, age 93, of Fremont passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Lillian was born on February 21, 1923, to Walter and Anna Elizabeth (Thorsen) Hanke and married Robert T. Kelly on February 7, 1944. Lillian had worked at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility for many years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cards, and was a member of the Holton American Legion Auxiliary. Lillian played the accordion, piano, and guitar.

Lillian is survived by her children, Terrence Lee Kelly of Holton, Diane (Jack) Deuling of Twin Lake, Barbara Powles of Grant, and Lloyd "Pat" Walter Kelly of Holton; grandchildren, Cathy, Jeff, Elizabeth, Pam, Patty, Monica, Jackie, Lorinda, and Cameron; many great-granchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on November 4, 1994; brothers, Clifford Hanke and Robert Hanke; and son-in-law, Martin Powles.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM, on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. There will be visitation two hours prior to the service (1–3 PM) at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holton Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Unit at Transitional Health Services.
