Smutek, Lillian Lillian Smutek, age 87 of Deckerville, passed away Wed. Aug. 28, 2002 at the Country Comfort A.F.C Home in Carsonville. She was born on Dec. 10, 1914 in Detroit to Nicholas and Jennie Krasnicki and later married Michael Smutek. She had been a production worker in Detroit for several years until her retirement to Deckerville. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her neice, Arlene Stopczynski of Baldwin; 4 nieces, Patricia Stopczynski of Baldwin; Victoria (Robert) Newell of Shelby; Constance (Bradley) Crawford of Paris, Michigan; Jacquline Gendernalik of Roscommon; 2 nephews, Kenneth (Sally) Stopczynski of Boise, Idaho; Thomas (Debra) Stopczynski of Hesperia; several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Piszcz on April 25, 2000 . Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002 at 11am from the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery .
