Linda J. (Hasty) Allen, age 60 of Hesperia, passed away Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. Linda was born on March 14, 1949 in Hart, Michigan to Richard and Elizabeth (Heltand) Hasty. Linda graduated from Hesperia High School in 1967 and had worked at the Fremont and Hesperia Community Schools and had also been a volunteer working with special needs children. Linda married Kevin Allen on April 20, 1991 in Hesperia. Linda is survived by her husband, Kevin of Hesperia; her two daughters, Tara Aschbacher and Ashley Allen of Hesperia; her step mother-in-law, Johanna Allen of Big Rapids; her step-son, Albert Allen of Big Rapids; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Richard Hasty; her father-in-law, Wilson Allen; and brothers Don Hasty and Ron (Ginny) Hasty.
