Linda M. Beardsley, age 62, of Hesperia, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids following a lingering illness. Linda was born on December 21, 1952 in Grand Rapids and later married Terry Beardsley on April 3, 1970 in Grand Rapids. Linda had been a homemaker and had enjoyed bowling and camping with her children and most recently with her grandchildren. Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Terry of Hesperia; her children, Dan (Renee) Swanger of Hesperia; Roger Swanger of Hesperia; Terry Beardsley II of Hesperia; Tammie (Dan) Gleason of Hesperia; Alicia Beardsley of Hesperia; her mother, Lucindy Kimbrell of Kentwood; 9 grandchildren; her sister, Sharon Swanger of Kentwood; her brothers, Henry (Edna) Kimbrell of Newaygo; Tommy Kimbrell of Fremont; sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law, Sandy Soles of Kingman, Arizona; Shirley Wilson of Hesperia; Lloyd (Bonnie) Beardsley of Kentucky; Lorraine Scott of Grand Rapids; Nancy Wheeler of Grandville; Karen Hodges of Standale; Diane (Sam) Hastings of Croton; several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Charles Swanger; her sisters, Judy Roberts and Barbara Swanger. VISITATION : Friday, May 1, 2015 from 5-8 pm and Saturday from 11 12 pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 12pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : East Hesperia Cemetery.
